Associate Professor of Korean and Russian Studies, University of Oregon

Susanna Lim is an associate professor of Russian literature and Korean Studies at the University of Oregon (Eugene, OR).

Her research and teaching interests include a wide range of topics, such as Russian literature and culture, postcolonialism, nationalism, transnationalism, race, American students and global literacy, Korean literature and culture, K-Pop, East Asian modernity, and the translation of modern Korean literature into English.

Lim is currently working on a project on the Korean diaspora in the former Soviet Union and the present-day CIS.

Lim is fluent in English and Korean and near-fluent in Russian and Portuguese.
