Senior Lecturer in Property Law, University of the Witwatersrand

Dr Thomas Coggin is a Senior Lecturer in Property Law at the University of the Witwatersrand. His research interests lie at the intersection of property law, urban studies, and critical legal geography. He is joint global coordinator of the International Research Group on Law & Urban Space, and he has worked with the United Nations in formulating policy positions for the New Urban Agenda. He holds an SJD from Fordham University, and is a fellow of the Urban Law Center.
