Tim Hall is Professor of Interdisciplinary social studies at the University of Winchester. He has a background in Geography and Criminology. His research interests include pedagogic and higher education research, the representations of urban and rural places and the globalisation of illicit and illegal economic activities. He is the author of books including Urban Geography (with Heather Barrett, Routledge, fifth edition, 2017), The Economic Geographies of Organized Crime (Guilford, 2018) and the co-editor of books including The Entrepreneurial City (with Phil Hubbard, Wiley, 1998) and A Research Agenda for Global Crime (with Vincenzo Scalia, 2019).
