Associate Professor of Law, Case Western Reserve University

Tim Webster is Associate Professor of Transnational Law and Director of Asian Legal Studies at Case Western Reserve University. He teaches International Business Transactions, International Human Rights, Property and Chinese Law. His research on East Asia spans fields such as human rights, trade, investment, and transnational litigation, and appears in the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law, Michigan Journal of International Law, Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business and Virginia Journal of International Law. He has testified before Congress, written for the popular media, and lectured in French, Mandarin and Japanese to audiences in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. Before joining Case Western Reserve, Webster was a lecturer at Yale Law School and senior fellow at its China Law Center. He has held visiting professorships at the University of Paris — Dauphine, National Taiwan University, and Southwest University of Political Science and Law (Chongqing, China).
