Dr. Tracey Dodd is an academic and non-Executive director, with 20 years of experience across the private, public, not-for-profit, and higher education sectors. She is currently Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Innovation, an advisory firm that provides strategic planning and policy advice to national clients. Since its inception in 2013, Sustainable Innovation has supported large clients including the Australian Government, the Victorian and South Australian Governments, and Housing Choices South Australia with successful economic and social development bids of over $16M. Before consulting, Tracey held senior policy advisory roles with the South Australian and Australian Government leading reform of programs valued at over $400M.

In addition to her industry engagement, Tracey is a Senior Lecturer with the Adelaide Business School, University of Adelaide, and Honorary Senior Research Fellow, University of Exeter. Her research in the areas of ecological sustainability, corporate governance, public policy, innovation, and social transitions, has been published by the British Accounting Review, the Australian Journal of Management, Energy Policy, Telecommunications Journal of Australia, and the Encyclopedia of Public Administration and Public Policy. Tracey earned a Ph.D. with UniSA in 2017 and a Master of Public Policy and Management with Carnegie Mellon University in 2009. She has presented her research and work globally, including to the United Nations (New York), Rocky Mountain Institute (Washington DC), New York City Council, World Business Council on Sustainable Development (Geneva), the Academy of Management, (Anaheim and Chicago), and Strategic Management Society (Berlin).
