Associate Professor, Department of Educational Administration, University of Saskatchewan

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Administration in the College of Education. My areas of research are post-secondary education and student well-being; included in this research is an examination of how policies, practices, leadership, and the scholarship of teaching and learning support student success. I led the development and launch of a Leadership in Post-secondary Education certificate and Master’s Degree area of specialization offered through our department. I have served on a number of department and College level committees, and at the university level, I have served on the University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association executive and on University Council. I served for two years on the Nominations Committee, a subcommittee of University Council and served as chair of the Nominations Committee and currently am Vice Chair of the Council’s Planning and Priorities Committee. Support of the work of University Council is critical to the maintenance and development of the core work of the university in research and teaching. Furthermore, as a collegium, we can work towards aspirational and innovative goals that promote USask’s reputation and contribute to the personal and academic success of its faculty, students, and staff.
