William Davies

My project is focused on considering if diffusion of innovation can be applied to reward-based crowd funding. It will analyse how the backers’ payments are spread out and whether this corresponds to the predictions made by models for the diffusion of innovation. I am currently in the process of refining my research topic, as such this may and probably will change completely.

I am based at Anglia Ruskin University and am 1 year into my PhD process. After previously studying a masters in international business economics. During my first year of my PhD I have presented at two international conference regarding the effects of crowdfunding.

I work as a part-time economic consultant alongside at economic policy associates. I am greatly interested in business economics, specifically the topics of innovation of finance and the growing affect of new technologies on existing business frameworks.
