Xavier Desjardins

Associate professor, urban planning, Sorbonne Université

Xavier Desjardins is an associate professor at Pantheon-Sorbonne, having previously worked at the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment and the SCURE Bureau D'Etudes en Urbanisme. He leads the unversity's research centre for urban planning and is responsible for the masters 2 course in planning projects. His research is mainly about mobility and local development. He is a member of the Comité de Rédaction de Transports Urbains. With Olivier Sykes and Juliette Maulat, he this year edited a special issue of Town Planning Review on the links between rail and urban development in France and Great Britain.
