Zane Stromberga is a PhD candidate investigating the role of inflammatory mediators in the urinary bladder. Particularly, her research focuses on the function of the inner epithelial lining, urothelium, and its role in impacting the overall bladder activity in health and disease. She is also involved in medical education research, with a focus on determining the use of modern visualisation technology (i.e. VR, AR, MR) in supplementing teaching in health sciences and medicine.
