#AskAnExpert about road safety – a Twitter Q&A

On Wednesday we ran an #AskAnExpert Q&A about road safety on Twitter. With road injuries one of the leading causes of death in the world – comparable to cancers, cardiovascular disease and respiratory diseases – Paul Salmon and Gemma Read published an article about who’s responsible for road safety and then took to Twitter to take the discussion further.

Readers got a chance to pose questions to our authors using the hashtag #AskAnExpert and get a response in real time. You can read some examples of the discussion below – or head over to the Storify story one of our readers made.

It all came at a fortuitous time for one Year 10 class:

We’ll be running more #AskAnExpert Q&As in the near future – follow our Twitter account to keep up to date.

In the meantime, follow Paul and Gemma on Twitter and, if you’d like to know more about road safety, head over to their article.
