Australian children graded badly for physical activity

The report card, developed using data from a number of national and state-based surveys, found overall physical activity levels were low, despite strong results for organised sport and physical activity participation.

Researchers found that despite high participation in organised sport, other forms of exercise, such as active transport and leisure time physical activity, were low or declining.
