If chores aren’t treated as chores, willpower follows

Self-control improves if we are able to find pleasure in the small things, especially those that we have to do.

Self-control - the mental force that allows people to push through opposing thoughts, emotions and fatigue - often dwindles when it comes to obligations.

Psychologists have found that there are ways to strengthen our willpower by changing our attitudes towards necessary tasks by seeing them as enjoyable.

The increased desire to do our chores can shift our priorities to help us avoid temptations and procrastination, and advance our overall productivity.
