Good news for blokes. You don’t need to actually do any exercise to feel some of the benefits.

A study from the University of Western Sydney has found that the social connections built up from watching a sporting event with friends bring health benefits too.

While actually suiting up and exerting yourself is better for you, bonding with mates can improve physical indicators such as blood pressure, cholesterol or weight.
