CAECE University

The University began its academic activity in April 1967, its founders being the Bosch brothers: Jorge: Mathematician and Epistemologist, Horacio: Physicist and Mathematician, Carlos: Engineer.

His first careers were the Bachelor of Mathematics and the Bachelor of Computer Science, the latter being the first of its kind created in the country. In 1978, the CAECE University obtained the definitive recognition of the Ministry of Culture and Education. At that time it operated in two buildings: one on Calle Solís and the other on Av. Belgrano and that same year, it incorporated Bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Pedagogical Sciences.

Then, in 1982, the University moved to occupy the 1400 Avenida de Mayo building, which for 18 years was its headquarters.

In order to extend the academic service to other major cities in the country, in 1993 an academic collaboration agreement was signed with the Mar del Plata Stock Exchange Foundation and in 1996 the activities of the CAECE Mar del Plata headquarters began. . In April 1996, the building on Avenida de Mayo 866 , CABA, current Headquarters, was incorporated.In 2016 construction work began on a new building on the same land on Hipólito Yrigoyen street, expanding the capacity of classrooms, incorporating laboratories. of New Technologies, Urban Ecology, Biology and spaces for academic training and research such as the Gesell Chamber, where different types of exchange for learning are generated.

Throughout its trajectory, the University has always been committed to innovation, technology and science, adding undergraduate and graduate degrees to its academic offerings, training its graduates with multidisciplinary tools so that they have solid knowledge and are fully qualified for jobs. of the future .
