Online engagement may cure a stutter

Online speech therapy programs might be the answer to overcoming a stutter.

Researchers at the University of Sydney have developed early intervention programs to target stuttering in children.

Typically stuttering begins in kids between 2 and 3 years old.

Communication challenges like stuttering can result in low confidence and a reluctance to learn.

It is hoped that through providing online treatment that families and young children with a stutter will find support early on.
