Dr. A.K.M. Rezaul Karim is an internationally trained vision scientist as well as a neuroscientist.
He received his postdoctoral training in Neuroscience and Neurorehabilitation at Envision Research Institute, Wichita, KS, USA and the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute, San Francisco, CA, USA.
As part of this training, he also worked as an affiliate in the Department of Neurology, University of California San Francisco (UCSF), USA.
His current research interest includes visual and tactile perception, multisensory perception, crossmodal cognition, neuroaesthetics, sensory impairment, neurorehabilitation of blindness, cortical plasticity, and behavioral laterality in humans.
