PhD Candidate, Department for Health, University of Bath

Aaron joined the University of Bath as a PhD student in the Centre for Nutrition, Exercise and Metabolism in 2017 after graduating from the Sport & Exercise Science undergraduate course. His research focuses on the integrated physiology of diet and nutrition. The main focus of his work is on the interactions between dietary carbohydrates and energy balance.

He is funded by The Rank Prize Funds and the University of Bath and has contributed to peer-reviewed articles in numerous journals, including The Journal of Physiology, British Journal of Nutrition, Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, and Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise. He is the University of Bath ambassador for The Nutrition Society.
