Abdallah, Mahamat Nour

Dr MAHAMAT NOUR Abdallah est Géo-scientiste et hydro(géo)logue, enseignant-chercheur au département de géologie de la faculté des sciences exactes et appliquées de l'Université de N'Djamena. Il est fellow «The African Research Initiative for Scientific Excellence (ARISE) ». Ses travaux de recherche sont principalement basés sur la compréhension du fonctionnement des eaux de surface et des eaux souterraines des aquifères sahéliens et transfrontaliers dans le bassin du lac Tchad (LCB).

Dr. Abdallah Mahamat Nour is a Geoscientist and Hydrologist from Chad. He is also a lecturer at the University of N'Djamena in Chad. He is a fellow of the African Research Initiative for Scientific Excellence (ARISE) programme. His ARISE research is focused on assessing the impact of climate change on wetlands from the Lake Chad basin and its consequences on groundwater recharge. The ARISE programmeis implemented by the African Academy of Sciences (AAS) with support from the European Commission and the African Union Commission
