Researcher, Centre for Environmental and Climate Research, Lund University
I am a geographer by training. My work is centered on understanding coupled human-environment systems using Earth-observing satellites, geographic information systems and statistical modeling. Since 1999 I've worked in eight countries on three continents within various sectors including private, government and academia.
I have a PhD in Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science from Lund University in Sweden and an MSc in Geospatial Technologies from the University of Münster in Germany and the New University of Lisbon in Portugal. I received my BSc in Geoscience from Montclair State University in New Jersey, USA.
