Senior Lecturer and Head of Course - Positive Psychology, CQUniversity Australia

Adam is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences at CQUniversity. He is Head of Course for the Graduate Certificate in Positive Psychology, Graduate Diploma of Positive Psychology, and Master of Applied Positive Psychology.

Adam's background is in social psychology, and his research interests are in the areas of perspective taking and empathy, and inpatient psychiatric hospitalisation and therapeutic relationships.

Adam has authored over 50 chapters and articles in journals such as Personality and Individual Differences, Aggression and Violent Behavior, Journal of Relationships Research, and International Journal of Mental Health Nursing. He was the Convener of the Australian Psychological Society Psychology of Relationships Interest Group from 2015-2018.

Adam has won an Australian Psychological Society award for his work on perspective taking, and is a regular guest on ABC Radio programs across Australia.
