Lecturer in Event Management, University of the West of Scotland
I completed my doctorate at the University of Brighton with a thesis drawn from a year-long ethnographic project examining power and space against the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. After a stint teaching sport development at the University of Abertay in Dundee, I now teach Sport and Event Management at Coventry University. My research interests include protest, human rights, development, politics and, of course, sport.
