Adele Thomas researches, teaches and consults in the areas of business ethics and corporate governance. She is passionate about ethics in academia which involves research on student academic dishonesty, plagiarism (by academics and students) and governance of institutions of higher education. Adele has supervised almost 90 post-graduate students in a variety of fields in business management and human resource management. She is often called to comment in the media on issues of academic integrity. She is a former director of the Wits Business School and has worked in both the public and private sectors before joining academia. Adele holds the following degrees: MA (Social Work), MBA, MA (Creative Writing) and D.Litt et Phil. She has spent time abroad at Boston University in the USA and is a Harvard trained case writer and case teacher.
