Adeniyi Asiyanbi

Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Calgary

Adeniyi is leading a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)-funded postdoctoral research on the forest-climate interface, looking specifically at the intersection of wildfires and carbon sequestration. He is based at the Department of Geography, University of Calgary, Canada. His research focuses broadly on environmental politics and the intersection of climate change, forests and development. He holds a PhD in human geography and MSc in Environment and Development both from King's College London and has held a research position at the University of Sheffield and teaching positions at King's College London and SOAS, University of London.
