She spent more than a decade in business and academia and is currently the CEO of OneGo, Inc., a technology company based in Los Angeles. Influenced by her childhood behind the Iron Curtain, she developed an expertise in emerging markets and worked as a development and political risk consultant for corporations and governments, eventually starting a boutique consultancy in London. Her recent work included bringing the largest foreign investment of the decade to Lithuania and launching a global strategic engineering center for Barclays Bank. She also served as an energy and foreign investment advisor to the Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs (2009). Her book ‘The Politics of Energy and Memory between the Baltic States and Russia’ was released by Ashgate Publishing in January 2013. Her other recent publications include studies for The Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), Oxford Institute of Energy Studies, and Notre Europe Jacques Delors Institute. She regularly speaks at policy and industry conferences and has provided commentary for media outlets such as Forbes, Bloomberg, BBC, Al-Jareeza English, openDemocracy. Dr. Grigas graduated cum laude with a BA in politics and economics from Columbia University and earned her master’s and DPhil (Ph.D.) in international relations from the University of Oxford.
