Senior Lecturer in Law, Staffordshire University

I graduated in law from University College Cork, Ireland, in 1995. I worked in three law firms before embarking on PGCE course at Cardiff University. I was a Law Clerk at Niall Quinn & Co., Donegal, from May 1998 to March 2000. I worked as a Paralegal at two law firms in Australia. These were Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons), from April 2000 to June 2000; Thompson Eslick, from September 2000 to February 2001. I was a lecturer in law at Heart of Worcestershire College from September 2002 to August 2016. At this college I was, for four years, Award Leader for the law and practice courses of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
