I have a PhD in Politics and International Relations. My research has primarily been on Religion and Politics, from which I have published a book titled "Religion in British International Development" (2020) by Palgrave Macmillan. I am currently researching Party Politics in Tanzania with a focus on parties' use of social media in an autocratic context. I also consult in policy and political economy analyses.

I am also a part-time lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Tumaini University-Makumira in Arusha, Tanzania, where I teach Masters of International Law modules including Theories of International Relations, Collective Security, International Diplomacy, Research Methods and Philosophy.
