Ajeng A. Arainikasih mengenyam pendidikan Arkeologi; Art History Curatorial and Museum Studies; dan Colonial and Global History. Saat ini Ajeng adalah PhD Candidate dari Universiteit Leiden, Belanda, dengan fokus riset mengenai dekolonisasi dan museum di era pasca-kolonial Indonesia. Ajeng juga merupakan staf pengajar di Universitas Indonesia, dengan spesialisasi ilmu Museologi.
