Dr. Alan Marshall is a New Zealand environment scholar now working at Mahidol University near Bangkok, Thailand.

Marshall is the author of dozens of academic papers and numerous books on various environmental / humanities topics, for example:

Marshall has worked as an international research fellow in institutes and universities all around Europe and in the Asia-Pacific region. For instance, he has held research fellow positions at IAS-STS (Austria), UPJS(Slovakia), Mahidol University (Thailand), Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (Russia), Nirex UK (Great Britain) and Curtin University of Technology (Australia).
