Postgraduate Researcher, Department of Architecture & Civil Engineering, University of Bath

I am a researcher in sustainable construction materials at the University of Bath, in the Decarbonisation of the Built Environment (dCarb) research unit and BRE Centre for Innovative Construction Materials (BRE-CICM). I have a degree in Materials Science from the University of Oxford, and have also worked for the buildings design consultancy BuroHappold Engineering. Alongside my PhD research, I provide advice for the sustainable construction charity Haileybury Youth Trust on technical aspects of earth construction.

I am passionately curious about how we can use our natural resources in the smartest way to provide affordable, desirable housing at an acceptably low environmental cost. If you have experience or ideas for collaboration in this area, especially in developing nations, please get in touch.
