Senior Teaching Fellow in Global Sustainable Development, University of Warwick

I'm a transdisciplinary academic, specialising as a Higher Education teaching professional. I broadly focus my work through the lens of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), with a passion for growing intellectual and radical thought leadership for transformation.

I am currently based in the Division of Global Sustainable Development (GSD), University of Warwick. Here I recently facilitated design of our innovative and transdisciplinary MA.Sc in Global Sustainable Development, and convene the core module "Leading Transformation in the Anthropocene".

At undergraduate level I teach "Environmental Principles of GSD", "Security, Sovereignty and Sustainability in the Global Food System" and "Sustainable Cities". I contribute elsewhere to "Challenges of Climate Change".

In recent years I have invested in disseminating my educational practices through publications, but maintain my subject scholarship, using research-led teaching to support research work in the variety of areas.

As an active and visible Trade Unionist, I contribute directly to processes of empowerment and positive social change with University operation and Industrial relationships.
