I am a part-time PhD researcher at the University of Portsmouth Business School (SEI subject group). And I am a full-time security risk manager in a large international aid agency (IFRC). My research focuses on security-related issues, including but not limited to security risk management (especially humanitarian security management), violent extremism, armed conflict, policing and law enforcement, and also adult learning methods (e.g. reflective practice in security risk management, which was the research focus of my first doctorate).
