Alexander Treusch

I am an Associate Professor for molecular microbial ecology in the Department of Biology at the University of Southern Denmark.
With my research I try to understand how microbial communities shape the environment they live in and how changes in the environment cause responses in community structure and ultimately evolutionary adaptations. I am working in both marine and freshwater ecosystems and use mainly molecular methods.
