Alexandra Anderson

Postdoctoral Research Associate - Sheffield Methods Institute, University of Sheffield

Alexandra is a Q-Step Postdoctoral Research Associate in the University of Sheffield Methods Institute (SMI), joining the department in April 2020.

Before joining the SMI, Alexandra was a Research Associate at the Crick Centre in the University of Sheffield’s Department of Politics and International Relations. There, she worked on the ‘Designing for Democracy’ project - an analysis of the Restoration and Renewal Programme for the Palace of Westminster with a specific focus on public engagement. Alexandra earned her PhD at the University of Leeds in 2018, where she explored politics, virtue, and ideas of the ‘public good’ in eighteenth-century history writing.
