PhD Researcher, University of Zürich

I am PhD researcher at the University of Zurich and the Center for Democracy Studies in Aarau (ZDA). I specialise in the field of political theory.

My doctoral research focuses on popular vote processes (initiative and referendums) and proposes a reassessment of the democratic credentials of these procedures in democratic systems.

As a member of the association of researchers in democracy studies DemocracyNet.eu, I have organized in this frame academic workshops, but also a number of transfer events for the broader public.
