Alisha O'Neill

I am a research assistant and PhD student in Education and Mental Health in the Manchester Institute of Education (MIE). My research is based on mental health and wellbeing during adolescence, focusing on perceived cause for emotional distress in the context of help-seeking. That is, I am interested in whether there is a link between what young people believe to be the cause of their emotional distress and help-seeking when experiencing distress.
