Alison Hilton is an Associate Lecturer and the Academic Chair of the Bachelor of Education (Secondary) program at Murdoch University. Alison is a qualified Secondary teacher and has also worked extensively in Adult Education in vocational education and tertiary institutions in both teaching and student support roles. Her experience in education is varied and includes private, government and not-for-profit education systems. Alison is interested in the student experience of pre-service teachers and teachers in education. She has recently completed her professional doctorate (EdD) titled "The Heart, The Wallet and the Cookie Cutter: Student and stakeholder experiences of undertaking LANTITE, the high-stakes test in Australian initial teacher education."
