Alistair S. Duff is professor of information policy, School of Arts and Creative Industries, Edinburgh Napier University. With a background in political philosophy and information studies, he is the author of Information Society Studies (Routledge 2000) and A Normative Theory of the Information Society (Routledge 2012). He is a member of the privacy pressure group, NO2ID Edinburgh.
