PhD Candidate, Urban Geography, University of Sydney

Alistair is a PhD candidate in urban geography and is conducting research on territorial stigmatisation in Sydney. Alistair’s research examines the stigmatisation of (i) public housing and (ii) Muslim Australians, how these communities are governed as a consequence of their stigmatisation, and how they are contesting and resisting this.

Alistair holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Western Australia and is a recipient of an Australian Postgraduate Award.
