Alistair Woodward

Professor, School of Population Health, University of Auckland

Alistair Woodward is currently Head of Epidemiology & Biostatistics in the School of Population Health at the University of Auckland. His first degree was in medicine and he undertook his postgraduate training in public health in the UK. He has a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Adelaide. Prior to taking up his post at The University of Auckland in 2004 he was Professor of Public Health at the University of Otago Wellington. Research interests include tobacco, radio-frequency radiation and health, transport and injury, and climate change.
