Allen Gallagher is a PhD student in Health at the University of Bath and a member of the Tobacco Control Research Group (@BathTR) whose project, TobaccoTactics.org, explores how tobacco companies influence policy. Allen has a BA Hons. in politics and sociology and an Msc. In drug & alcohol studies, both from the University of the West of Scotland.
Allen’s current research focuses on current problems and practices in illicit tobacco trade and their implications for public health. He is a member of Bath Science in Policy – a group that aims to bring together early-career researchers with an interest in the role of science in policy making.
