Allen Muyaama Mukhwana

Mukhwana is the Research Systems Manager at the African Academy of Sciences where she manages the Research Management Programme in Africa which seeks to build the expertise necessary to create and sustain robust research enterprises and environments by addressing systemic level challenges at institutions. She led the AAS “Factors which Contribute to or Inhibit Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in Africa”. With over 16 years’ experience, her work has spanned academia, industry and the NGO sector and has vast experience engaging international research and funding partners.
