Allen Rodrigo

For almost 20 years, I worked on the molecular evolution of viruses, including HIV and Hepatitis B. My lab was involved in the development of computational methods for analysing the evolutionary history of viruses, including the timing of virus origins. I have been the head of two schools of biology in the last 6 years, and have therefore had responsibility for the operations of biological safety laboratories up to BSL2.
