Senior Research Associate in Epidemiology, University of Bristol

I research how socioeconomic circumstances and experiences impact on health - and how health shapes socioeconomic circumstances. I trained in Social Epidemiology, and recently began incorporating causal methods such as Mendelian Randomization into my work. My particular research interests are body weight, mental health, health correlates of employment and unemployment, and the interaction of mental and physical health against a social backdrop relevant to both.
