Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, King's College London

I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at King's Business School, King's College London. My research interests are in the areas of remote working, relationships at work, group dynamics, work-life balance, and taboo talk, including political ideology, in the workplace. My work informs organisations of the likely outcomes of their selected workplace strategies and provides guidance on how these outcomes might be adjusted through targeted intervention.

Prior to my employment at KBS, I spent several years in the professional services industry where I consulted in strategic management and systems development to large organisations in diverse industries. Such organisation's include, Lloyds of London, Barclay's Bank, Aon, and the NHS. I also previously held a position as a senior lecturer at UCB in the Middle East.

During my time as an academic, I have earned a Senior Fellowship in Higher Education from the King's College London, become a graduate member of the CIPD, and a member of EAWOP and the Academy of Management. I have presented my work at numerous national and international conferences including at the EAWOP and the Academy of Management conferences, produced podcasts, including a recent interview about teleworking during the lockdown. I am frequently quoted in the press including The Guardian, Fortune magazine, The Times and Bloomberg, have authored articles for trade press including ICAEW Insights and The European Magazine and have appeared on BBC London News and Sarah Vine's Daily Mail podcast discussing the future of hybrid working.
