Associate Professor of School Psychology, Northeastern University

Amy M. Briesch is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Psychology at Northeastern University, where she serves as the Program Director for the School Psychology MS/CAGS and PhD Programs. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and co-directs the Center for Research in School-Based Prevention (http://northeastern.edu/crisp).

The overarching goal of her research is to develop and evaluate tools for assessing students' social, emotional, and behavioral functioning that are both effective and usable (i.e. acceptable, feasible, compatible) in applied school settings. She is also interested in developing structures and strategies to promote student involvement in intervention design and implementation. Dr. Briesch has authored three books and over 90 peer-reviewed journal articles to date.
