My research is focused on immunoassays development in miniaturised systems, with point of care diagnostics application. Therefore, I am interested in surface modification, antibody-antigen binding, mass transfer in miniaturised systems, biological samples interference in immunoassays, assay signal detection and amplification. The main goal is the creation of rapid and sensitive clinical tests with low cost materials that can increase accurate diagnostics accessibility in developed and developing countries.
