I am a doctoral researcher at the Graduate School for Social Research at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw and a PhD Fellow at the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius in Hamburg, working on a project that examines China's Belt and Road Initiative from the perspective of diffusion, with a particular focus on China's cooperation with Central, East and Southeast Europe.
I hold master's degrees in Contemporary China Studies (Renmin University of China, Beijing 2013), Nationalism Studies (Central European University, Budapest 2009), and a bachelor's degree in Political Science (University Ss Cyril and Methodius, Skopje 2008). I have worked and been associated with a number of research networks and organizations in Europe and Asia.
I have published scholarly and press articles on China and post-socialist Europe as well as the relationship between the two, co-edited a volume on Sino-European relations, and authored a monograph on the political (ab)use of the ancient past in the Balkans.
