Clin A/Prof Polari was born in the Italian part of Switzerland and moved to Melbourne in 2009 to work at Orygen, Specialist Programs at Melbourne Health. He obtained his Psychiatry and Psychotherapy specialisation in Switzerland before obtaining Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatry in Australia.
He is passionate about Early Intervention in Psychiatry, particularly psychosis and people at risk of developing psychotic disorders, Youth Mental Health and Leadership, culminating in my Honorary position as Clinical Associate Professor at Centre of Youth Mental Health at the University of Melbourne and the Associate Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators. He also values the partnership with young people with lived experience that can deeply influence mainstream Psychiatry.
