Andrea Sharam

Andrea has published in the fields of household consumption, homelessness and housing. She has a graduate diploma in urban planning and policy and her Phd thesis explored sub-prime markets in essential services. Elected to the Moreland City Council in 2004, for a four year term, Andrea sat on the Urban Planning Committee and was Councillor Responsible for Affordable Housing. She is the immediate past Chair of Women's Information Support and Housing in the North (WISHIN) a special homelessness service for single women and their children. Her current interest is in alternative housing development models.
