Professor of Ecology, La Trobe University

Andrew Bennett is Professor of Ecology and Director of the Research Centre for Future Landscapes at La Trobe University. He has broad research interests in landscape ecology and conservation biology, with a focus on understanding the effects of land use and landscape change on native fauna. From 2015 - 2020 he held a joint appointment between La Trobe University (Prof. of Ecology) and the Arthur Rylah Institute (Science Leadership). Prior to 2015, he held a Personal Chair in Landscape Ecology at Deakin University.
